Sr. Project Lead (IT) needed in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to monitor overall health of projects and provide feedback on any risks associated with projects. Review documents and perform QA activities to ensure quality of deliverables for each phase. Gather requirements by attending calls with business partners, and create requirement and use case documents. Work with Architects and technical teams to design new application enhancements. Work on various design deliverables and ensure all design objects created meet client and Syntel technical standards. Perform release management tasks for monthly production application releases. Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus one year of IT experience. The one year of IT experience must include experience using J2EE, Hibernate and Linux. In lieu of the above education and experience requirements, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus five years of progressive experience in the IT field. One year of the five years of progressive IT experience must include experience using J2EE, Hibernate and Linux. We will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience in lieu of the above stated education and experience requirements. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required, to be reimbursed by employer. This is not a telecommuting position.
