Sr. Technical Architect needed in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to deliver solutions to customers including database consolidation, implementation, and application integration, with stress on architectural services. Evaluate projects from technical stance and ensure development methods used are correct and practical. Create implementation plan and lead deployment. Provide technical connection between Project Managers and Developers. Advise clients with respect to key architectural decisions concerning platform and supporting technologies. Sign off on system requirements, identify resources, and estimate timelines for project completion. Produce technical architectures that are modifiable, dependable, and scalable. Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus two years of IT experience. The two years of IT experience must include experience using Java, JSF1.2 and Web Services. In lieu of the above education and experience requirements, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus five years of post-bachelor’s progressive experience in the IT field. One year of the five years of post-bachelor’s progressive IT experience must include experience using Java, JSF1.2 and Web Services. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required, to be reimbursed by employer.
