Engagement Manager (IT) needed in Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to develop new service offerings and approve future alliances with relevant IT product vendors and services organizations for Syntel’s business needs. Monitor project scope, make decisions on scope changes, and approve change requests to raise additional funding from clients. Review and sign off on project deliverables. Ensure Syntel’s onsite-offshore global delivery model processes are being implemented, and project deliverables reach clients per contract terms. Manage performance against contract specifications and ensure compliance with all terms and conditions of contract. Involved in all strategic meetings and decisions made in business unit, and serve as member of steering committee board. Improve serviceability and customer satisfaction by managing customer relationships and maintaining all transactions for clients/vendors as single point of contact from Syntel. Chair business review meetings, provide guidance to resolve issues, and coordinate with clients and Syntel’s cross functional management teams. Ensure quality of deliverables in stipulated time, and review reports for testing efforts, quality analysis, and trending. Provide health status reports for multiple accounts in portfolio to executive leadership. Must have a Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus one year of IT experience. The one year of IT experience must include experience using Oracle and MSSQL. In lieu of the above education and experience requirements, we will accept a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, plus five years of progressive experience in the IT field. One year of the five years of progressive IT experience must include experience using Oracle and MSSQL. We will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience in lieu of the above stated education and experience requirements. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required, to be paid by employer. This is not a telecommuting position.
